This website is owned and operated by The Cummings Group, a Charlotte, NC based organization specializing in Human Resources Consulting, HR Consulting, and Human Resources Outsourcing services, and its subsidiaries ("The Cummings Group"). This privacy policy describes how The Cummings Group collects and uses the personal information you provide on our Website. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

The Cummings Group delivers HR Consulting, Outsourced Human Resources, Outsourced Payroll, and HR Consultant services. As your trusted Human Resources Consulting partner, The Cummings Group must collect certain personal information regarding the employees of its clients to provide these services to its customers and their worksite employees.

Protecting the privacy of users of The Cummings Group products and Human Resources Outsourcing services is important to The Cummings Group. As your HR Consultant, The Cummings Group makes use of any personal information you provide to The Cummings Group only for the purposes outlined in this policy.

This policy does not apply to any information that you may provide directly to third parties including via third-party sites recommended or linked to The Cummings Group Website or The Cummings Group HR Consulting service Website. Information We Collect

The Cummings Group Website collects identifying information such as your name, company name, company address, and other contact information necessary for providing Human Resources Consulting and Outsourced Human Resources services. We, The Cummings Group, will never sell, rent, lend, or trade this information in our possession to any other company for the purpose of contacting you regarding commercial services. If you are The Cummings Group customer or worksite employee of a customer utilizing our HR Consulting services, we collect the information necessary to provide our services, collecting it either from you directly or from your worksite employer. This collection is limited to the purpose of providing the Human Resources Outsourcing service for which the customer has engaged The Cummings Group as their HR Consultant. By voluntarily providing information or by accessing our website, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Payment Information

Information you input through our site to pay for services and to set up an account are collected and stored securely by our third-party payment collections vendor partner. All payment information is stored directly by the payment vendor and is not kept physically or digitally in The Cummings Group records or on The Cummings Group servers.

Usage Tracking and Cookies

Use of Information

We use personally identifiable information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, statistically analyze site usage, improve our content product offerings, customize our sites' content, layout, and services, and provide our Human Resources Consulting and HR Consulting services (if applicable). At times, we may look across multiple users to identify problems or resolve disputes, and we may evaluate information about you to look for users using multiple User IDs or aliases.

Text Communications

Any client or employee who uses or receives The Cummings Group services is automatically opting in to receive text communications from us for business purposes. These text communications will not include spam or marketing purposes, nor will we sell your information to third parties. To opt-out of receiving text communications, you may resign your position, cancel your Service Agreement, or send "STOP" to the text sender. Your opt-out request will be considered for removal from communications by text.

The Cummings Group Services

If you are a customer (also referred to as a worksite employer) or worksite employee serviced by The Cummings Group through our Human Resources Outsourcing and HR Consultant services, you are a registered user and we may collect and maintain personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, Social Security number, taxpayer identification number, age, marital status, occupation, salary, benefits, dependent information, etc. through The Cummings Group service Website(s) or other means disclosed to you. This information will be used to provide our HR Consulting and Outsourced Human Resources services, which may include sharing such information with your worksite employer to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

Once you create a username and password, you can review and change the information you submitted in your profile section. If your registration information changes, you must promptly update, change, or delete your registration information by logging into your profile page or by contacting us at cummingshrconsulting@gmail.com. We may retain your information, including personally identifiable information, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, manage risk, and/or fulfill our obligations to governments or insurance carriers. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical constraints and the fact that we back up our systems.

 

Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.

Disclosure of Information

For registered users, personally identifiable information will include name, address, contact information, Social Security number, date of birth and payroll and benefits information related to the services we provide to registered users.
